For more than ten years, Wen Ran was indulged by Old Man Wen and her senior brothers, so her life was smooth sailing. She didn't know which kind of misfortune she had hit. Ever since that day in Giant Abyss Valley, whenever she met Shen Wu, nothing good happened!
Wen Ran's chest hurt even more. She shivered as she got up from the ground, "Stay away from me, I need to change clothes."
This time Shen Wu didn't say much. He obediently walked a few steps away and even turned his back, "Go ahead and change, I won't peek."
Wen Ran silently walked to a corner. She glanced at Shen Wu's back before taking clothes from her Storage Bracelet.
As if sensing her nervousness, Shen Wu, from over there, considerately started a conversation, "Ranran, do you know what this place is?"
"I don't know." Wen Ran truly didn't know. She hadn't heard Old Man Wen or anyone else mention that there was a cave in the Forbidden Land. The atmosphere here was chilling and eerie, and who knew what dangers were hidden.
Wen Ran had just taken off her wet clothes when, suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a shadow moving on the wall. When she saw clearly what it was, she uncontrollably screamed, "There's a snake!"
As soon as she spoke, a sword flew over, piercing the stone wall and cutting the black snake in half.
Shen Wu raised his hand unhurriedly, and the sword flew straight to him. He grasped the hilt and produced a cloth from somewhere, saying as he wiped the sword, "Ranran, don't be afraid, I'm here."
Wen Ran restrained her collapsing expression and hastily covered herself with clothes. Even so, her lotus-white arm was exposed to the air, inviting imagination. With a hopeful tone, she smiled and asked, "Senior brother, you didn't see anything, did you?"
Shen Wu thought for a second, seeming to ponder what she was asking, then after a moment, he understood and laughed, "Ranran, rest assured, you're still young, I won't do anything to you."
After saying that, he withdrew his gaze from her neck down, turned his back, and began wiping his sword leisurely.
He said she was young, but what exactly did he mean!
Not hearing any movement from behind for a while, Wen Ran was probably still frozen in place, not daring to move. Shen Wu, considerate and empathetic as ever, spoke with a pure smile, "No need to scare yourself; your waist isn't as slim as mine, your legs aren't as long, and your skin isn't as fair. I'm not desperate enough to settle for just anything."
Wen Ran: "..."
How strange did that sound?
Shen Wu said, "Hurry and get dressed, we need to continue moving forward."
Indeed, who knew what other dangers lay within this cave; there's no time to waste.
Wen Ran was about to continue dressing but suddenly remembered something. She glanced at the back of the person wiping the sword over there and asked, "Senior brother, every time you make your sword so clean, can it be used as a mirror?"
Shen Wu humbly said, "Adequately so."
"Since it can be used as a mirror, the reflection should be quite clear, right?"
"Average."
Immediately afterwards, he sidestepped to avoid a stone flying over.
The girl's voice echoed angrily in the cave, "Shen Wu! You said you didn't peek!"
