Chen Lun was slightly startled.
Floey rolled her eyes, seemingly realizing that he didn't know what had happened, and then she gestured for him to come closer.
"Come in first, then we'll talk," she said.
"Excuse me, Miss Floey."
Chen Lun smiled politely, took off his hat, and greeted her with a bow.
As the two climbed the spiraling stone staircase, Floey, walking ahead, said with some irritation:
"The messenger came back last night looking unusually excitable, quite abnormal... I checked it over, and found some strange changes in its body; several nodes in the inscription circuit were burned out, and the energy storage area was filled with a large amount of high-energy fluctuations. If it weren't for the two emergency arrays I designed initially, it probably would have exploded like a bomb."
