Bryan White frowned slightly and shook his head: "If I wanted to know, I could investigate, but I've never done that. I was just waiting for you to tell me."
That was his hope, hoping that one day she would personally tell him, because if such a day came, it would mean she had accepted him and opened her heart to him.
"Do you really want to know?" Donna Doyle furrowed her elegant eyebrows, her hands inadvertently clutching his shirt tightly, her breathing turned heavy.
"Are you willing to tell?" Bryan White countered, releasing his other hand from around her waist and slightly propping himself up.
Without the weight on her, Donna felt instantly relieved. She took a deep breath and after a moment, said softly, "Duskfire Sect, I'm an assassin of the Duskfire Sect!"
"Duskfire Sect!?" Bryan White suddenly sat upright, then sat back on the sofa, completely letting go of her.
