Li Ying's obvious avoidance made Yan Qianyi even more certain that she must know something.
Yan Qianyi put down the water glass she had been holding and walked up to Li Ying. "Aunt Li, my mother treated you well when she was alive, didn't she?"
Li Ying nodded without looking up at Yan Qianyi.
"Director Shu was kind to everyone; she was a very compassionate person."
"But now, someone has uncovered the medical incident from that year and wants to take advantage of it to tarnish the hospital's reputation."
"How could that be..." Li Ying looked at Yan Qianyi in surprise, "it's been so many years, and there was no medical incident back then."
Yan Qianyi lightly hooked the corner of her lips. "I knew you would remember."
Taken aback, Li Ying quickly said, "Qianyi, don't ask me anymore, I really can't say, I signed a confidentiality agreement back then."
"What confidentiality agreement? Who made you sign it?" Yan Qianyi pressed.
Li Ying shook her head, still unwilling to talk.
