The sisters turned swiftly. Several of their companions, Boara, Juvin, Peter, and the others, had collapsed to the ground, writhing as if something invisible had invaded their minds. They clutched their heads, their eyes rolling back, foam forming at the corners of their mouths.
"What the—? What's happening to them?!" Aurianna shouted, rising to her feet in alarm.
"Hm… to think a mere projection of myself would do this much damage," Iris mused, inspecting her own fingers idly.
Her voice remained soft, but her words sent a chill through them.
"Wait… projection?! This isn't even your real body?!" Aurianna's breath caught in her throat.
Carol, who was still standing, barely glanced at her trembling hands, her brows furrowed with disbelief.
