When the first missile struck, Andy's heart jolted violently. Then six missiles hit in quick succession, and when one of the bunker-busters penetrated deep underground and exploded, causing chunks of the concrete wall over Andy's head to start falling, he couldn't help but scream aloud.
Andy had never been under bombardment before. The most horrifying moments he had experienced were gunfights where he fired shots against opponents. But now, what Andy felt was a fear that came from the utter inability to control his own fate.
