"CEO Cao, here's your coffee."
"Thank you."
The secretary walked in, bent down to place two common bottled coffees on the coffee table, nodded to CEO Lan on the sofa with a smile, and then turned to leave.
Though she didn't understand why CEO Cao opted for this most generic convenience store drink over high-end hand-ground coffee, as a subordinate, one shouldn't question what isn't their business.
"By the way, how much was it?"
Just as the secretary was nearing the door, Cao Jinse unexpectedly called out.
"Ah... ten yuan."
The secretary was momentarily stunned, then quickly turned back to reply.
"For both bottles together?"
Cao Jinse was indeed a bit baffled.
"Yes, CEO Cao, it's ten yuan for both bottles," the secretary dutifully explained in detail.
"Got it."
Cao Jinse didn't mention reimbursement; ten yuan was nothing. For her high-paid secretary, treating the two CEOs to a bottle of coffee was insignificant.
"Aunt Lan."
