"As a 'savior' type of Angel, the Pope can't possibly do things unrelated to saving the world; otherwise, he would directly lose his own power; at the same time, as a Superior who has inherited the wisdom of predecessors, how could he possibly engage in such profitless actions?"
He racked his brain but couldn't think of any other significance to this action other than tarnishing the reputation of Angels and simultaneously losing the neutral reputation that the Church had accumulated over so long.
"Maybe not?"
Wuming merely snorted, "Originally, they must have planned to observe the release of the Demons and then act to win over the hearts of the people. But now that it seems like the Demons will be directly destroyed, they have launched an attack on the Reconstruction Mechanism."
