"Yo, our busy bee has arrived!"
Russell had barely stepped into the hall with Cui Que when he heard a warm voice nearby.
It was sweet and enthusiastic, bringing to mind Malt Wine. But compared to Malt Wine's more mature and alluring tone, this voice was sharper, crisper, and more youthful... It was like the "working voice of a broadcaster that sounds girlish and overly enthusiastic."
For a stranger, the voice might certainly come off as a bit affected.
However, Russell knew that this was indeed her natural voice. Back in school, she was even reprimanded by teachers to "speak properly" and was mocked by her classmates... but, on the other hand, quite a few boys thought her voice was pretty.
"Renee?"
Russell looked in the direction of the voice and saw a redhead girl: "What are you doing down here?"
She had long multicolored hair in shades of white, pink, red, and a hint of black, with the colors blending into her ear feathers that transitioned from white to red.
