Alix firmly believed in the saying - 'Action speaks louder than words.' So that's what she was trying to do. She observed how affectionate the couples in the family were but she couldn't imagine herself like them. So if words were becoming the roadblock for her, she assumed her actions would overcome it.
She thought it would make Jin happy but he happened to take some other meaning behind her thought process. From the corner of her eye, she saw his tear drops plop down.
"Why are you crying?" She was stunned.
"I'm sorry…" he clutched the rabbit scarf in his hand. "I'm sorry that I didn't understand you. It's things like these that make me *hiccup* insecure…If it had been Hou Lin, you wouldn't have had to explain this to him. He would have understood you. I didn't…"
"Okay first of all, stop comparing yourself to Lin."
"I try but-"
"STOP."
Her eyes narrowed so dangerously that Jin jolted and swallowed his words back.
