Fun Fact: According to the author's comments, SCP-5045 is based a mix of dream-related topics; they're based on the sort of skips that the author would occasionally read in their dreams, they're based on a nightmare they had as a child where they got lost in a chain-link maze, and the core idea of SCP-5045 in particular came to them when they were half-asleep.

[Felix Harp Pov]
We start of this Chapter with Felix leaning on the Giant Tree aka the Bowtruckle's Giant Tree with a few Book's right beside him and a Book in his Hand's.
What was Felix doing? Well Felix is re-studying the 4 Charms he have learned and they are the Softening Charm, Wand-Lighting Charm, Severing Charm and finally the Fire-Making Spell.
Why is Felix reading the Book? Last Chapter he said he was done with Magic... Well you see boredom is something everyone can easily be infected expecially when you're in a Pre-Historic World and who would reject the temptation of Magic? Not Felix the Human Library of course.
Felix: "Alright what's next?"
Felix then flipped his Book to Page 21.
[There are many ways to pass through locked doors in the magical world where you wish to enter or depart discreetly, however, the Unlocking Charm is your best friend.]
[The Unlocking Charm (Alohomora), also known as the Thief's Friend, was a charm that unlocked objects such as doors or windows. It was also able to open doors locked by the Locking Spell (Colloportus), and as such, acted as its counter-charm. The Anti-Alohomora Charm could be used to prevent this charm from working on a locked target. -Miranda Goshawk.]
[To be able to cast this Spell one needs precision and focused. Say the incantation multiple times before casting ah-LOH-ho-MOR-ah. Be careful with the pronunciation dear.]
Felix immediately flipped to Page 26 and didn't bother reading it.
Felix: "That would be useless i don't need it right now."
[The Locking Spell would shut and lock a door, preventing manual entry. The door could be unlocked with the use of a key or unlocking spell.]
[The Locking Charm (Colloportus), if Alohomora is known as Thief's Best Friend then this is the opposite. it is a charm that lockd objects such as doors and windows. Its counter spell is The Locking Spell (Alohomora). -Miranda Goshawk.]
[To be able to cast this Spell one needs precision and focused. Say the incantation multiple times before casting cull-low-PORE-tus. Be careful with the pronunciation dear.]
Felix then skipped this one aswell and flipped to Page 31 mainly because he doesn't have any use for it.
[The Levitation Charm is one of the first spells learnt by any young witch or wizard. With the charm a witch or wizard can make things fly with the flick of a wand. The charm is an excellent test of your magical skills, wand control and above all, patience.]
[The Levitation Charm was invented in 1544 by warlock Jarleth Hobart who mistakenly believed that he had at last succeeded in doing what wizardkind had so far failed to do, and learnt to fly. -Miranda Goshawk.]
[The Levitation Charm (Wingardium Leviosa) was a charm used to make objects fly, or levitate. It was taught to first-years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.]
[To be able to cast this Spell one needs precision and focused. Say the incantation multiple times before casting wing-GAR-dee-um leh-vee-OH-sa. Be extra careful with this ones pronunciation dear.]
Felix then decided to use the Book as a test subject this time.
Felix: "Alright i think the louder i say it the stronger it gets... I mean it's sounds confusing but Magic runs on Emotions."
Felix then stood up and visualised for the Book to Levitate. And then did the Hand Gesture and finally pointed his Index Finger to the Book.
Felix: "Alright Felix swish and flick. WING-GAR-DEE-UM LEH-VEE-OH-SA!"
(Harvey: Face Palmed)
*BANG*
Felix failed from casting the Levitation Charm and in result he accidentally made an small explosion instead. Luckily not enough to hurt him.
What Felix didn't expect was that the Levitation Charm was different like The Killer Curse needed intent to kill and the Patronus Charm need the happiest memory of their caster.
The key to cast the Levitation Charm on the other hand is Intent pronunciation and patience. Felix succeed in the first part but failed the other two. So that's how Felix failed.
*Cought*
Felix: "ꜰᴜᴄᴋ"
Felix said while covering his Eye's from the smoke.
*Cought*
Felix: "Where did i failed?"
Felix then quickly grabbed the Book and read the Book carefully.
[Charms differ from Transfiguring Spells in the following manner: a charm adds certain properties to an object or creature, whereas a transfiguring spell will change it into something utterly different.]
[Lapses in concentration while charming can result in painful side effects — remember Wizard Baruffio, who said 's' instead of 'f' and found himself lying on the floor with a buffalo on his chest.]
Felix then trew the Book to the side and realised his mistake...
Felix: "Pronunciation... Damn it!"
So Felix felt pissed off and calmed himself with re-reading the rules to cast the Charm. Later on he would cast the Levitation Charm but he promised himself he would succeed that time.
