The sky was dark and lightless, thick clouds gathered like a net, covering the entire city.
The sun did not rise as usual.

someone shut off their phone with a grim look.
No signal at all, and even the phone's operation was highly challenging; no information could be sent out.
"Even satellite phones are useless, interference is too severe, signal is very poor."
