Lex was ready for a curse, or some devastating attack, or maybe another attempt at enslaving him. Yet nothing happened. Though there was a possibility that not enough of the attack reached Lex to have an effect, he doubted it.
He checked his body, soul and mind time and time again, using his spirit sense, and his eyes that could see through everything, but found nothing. It was only when he exerted his tenet to his utmost that Lex felt that there seemed to be something foreign attached to his body, like some kind of causality. But he could not sense it properly.
Whatever this was, it was clearly related to a very high level Relational law, which is why Lex could not sense it properly. But how did an Earth Immortal use Relational laws? The answer eluded Lex.
In fact, while Lex did not discover what Kreel had done to Lex, he did observe something else. His long latent ability, Murderer, activated. Well, to be fair, Murderer was not Lex's ability, but a feature of the Inn.
