Colter Flynn could only hear the roaring wind whistling past his ears. His vision was plunged into darkness, and his strength seemed utterly drained. The hand clutching him felt like an iron clamp, immovable and cold. Despite his formidable strength as a Dail Celestial Beast and his status as a Superior Divine Master, he found himself powerless to resist.
After about a dozen breaths, a sudden brightness pierced through the darkness. In that instant, his vision returned. He found himself atop a mountain peak, standing face-to-face with someone dressed in a cloth-patterned blouse. He saw embroidered shoes and caught the faint scent of perfume.
And, of course, he noticed the black tiger, which was equally immobilized by a single hand and unable to move.
Internally, Flynn could only stumble over his thoughts. Whoever this person was—male or female—they had strength beyond his comprehension. How could he, in the grip of this individual, muster not even a shred of resistance?
