Before long, she took out a tray from her space. It had several compartments, perfect for holding multiple dishes.
She picked out a portion of each dish on the table and placed them onto the tray, then set it in front of her son.
"Nuonuo, the food is here. You can eat by yourself."
The little baby's eyes lit up like little shiny stars when he saw all the dishes, especially the ones he loved to eat.
Was he allowed to eat by himself like this? This was amazing! He loved eating on his own and never wanted his father or mother to feed him again.
"Nuonuo eats by himself, by himself!"
The little baby waved his spoon enthusiastically, scooping his favorite dishes alongside rice, and ate with so much joy.
Only one thing was a bit inconvenient—because the table was too high, he had to stand on his father's lap, which was a little cramped. The little guy raised his head and looked at his dad.
"Daddy, make a chair. A tall chair."
