[: 3rd POV :]
It had been a week since Daniel underwent his transformation, and now, he found himself seated in a bustling restaurant, casually enjoying a meal with Cecilia.
The atmosphere was lively, filled with the chatter of patrons and the clinking of silverware, but an undercurrent of change loomed over them like a silent storm.
"Isn't it strange how everything has changed since that day? I never imagined that we'd possess such powers,"
Cecilia mused, taking a slow sip of her drink.
Her eyes held a mixture of awe and uncertainty, reflecting the monumental shift their lives had taken.
Daniel leaned back in his chair, his fingers lightly tapping against the table.
"It is strange, but I suppose we just have to move forward and not dwell too much on it," he responded, his tone even but distant.
"I know," Cecilia admitted, placing her cup down.
"But I can't help but wonder—why would something like this happen to our world? There has to be more to it."
