The three members of the Royal Lineage conversing quickly noticed Shard. The two Princes of Draleon, Marius Cavendish and Derek Cavendish, showed surprised expressions and then spoke one after the other:
"Look, it's Rejed's Hamilton."
"Good morning, Knight. Waiting for Father's summons?"
They all recognized Shard from his face alone and warmly shook hands with him. Lecia also greeted Shard but merely acknowledged him as "Hamilton Knight" without shaking his hand, maintaining a quite reserved lady-like demeanor.
"Good morning, Your Highness."
Shard also removed his hat to salute the heirs of the Kingdom.
"Who is Father talking to now?"
The twenty-eight-year-old Marius Cavendish asked the Eunuch Servant, who replied respectfully:
"The Marquis Connell is inside."
Marquis Connell currently oversees the Kingdom's Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Shard had seen him in the newspapers.
"I guess it's about the upcoming visit of Princess Margaret Anjou."
