If Clark was still alive and heard what Silver Mirror just said about being a man of honor, the man would have snorted when he heard such a heartfelt declaration of honor.
There's just no way Clark would believe that someone who left his sister to die would have honor. So he would have laughed himself to death if he had Silver Mirror's false promise.
Legion didn't care about his lies. They returned to Ivory Town and continued the wait.
They were waiting for the outcome of Captain Sheckel's fight. The outcome of that fight would determine who would be the controller of Ivory Town in the short term.
The outcome will also determine if they will rob the base of the lamp bearers and blow it up or continue to stand guard faithfully there. So clearly, there is a lot counting on the outcome of the fight apart from the lives of the participants of the fight, of course.
