SNAP
The Recruit Katana broke into countless specks of light and quickly disappeared. Li JinHai's heart stopped for5 a moment while his face lost all its color. He had previously checked the katana's durability and definitely believed that it was enough to face this group of zombies. However, unfortunately, he was wrong!
The katana did not manage to slash the LV2 zombie's head apart and the creature 'only' got a gruesome cut on its head. A human would have undoubtedly died; however, zombies were different. Apart from breaking or cutting their head, zombies would not even feel pain, and much less die! The zombie tried to strike Li JinHai with its bloody arms however the agile high schoolboy managed to skillfully dodge the blow with a twist.
"It seems that I have underestimated the toughness of LV3 zombies' bones." He exclaimed as he summoned the Recruit Sword, he got from killing the transformed player. He quickly familiarized himself with the new weapon. While the length of the sword was similar to the katana's, their weight was different. The lighter katana could be used to deal faster and more precise blows, on the other hand, the sword was just about dealing damage. Li JinHai was stronger than the average high school kid and with his Strength increased by two points, he did not have any problems in wielding the Recruit Sword.
After having familiarized with the new weapon, Li JinHai quickly charged towards the remaining zombies. He aimed his first strike at the two zombies on his right, a LV1 and a LV2.
CRUSH
With a flash of the sword, the two zombies' heads were slashed apart. The corpses fell on the ground and released two spheres of golden light which were quickly absorbed by Li JinHai's body.
"The katana was great, but swords are even better at killing zombies!" Exclaimed Li JinHai. The katana was indeed fast and cool however, the weight of the Recruit Sword was perfect to easily crush the zombies' bones.
With only two zombies remaining, Li JinHai backed up. It did not want to take any risk, especially in easy fights.
"Let me check my Endurance."

"What?! 5 points?!" Li JinHai spent 2 points to only kill 3 zombies, he was consuming Endurance far too fast.
After he took a breath, he ran towards the two remaining zombies. By this moment, Li JinHai had already got familiar with the zombies' attack and movement pattern so he quickly attacked in the most efficient way possible. He firstly neared the LV1 zombie and feigned a front attack.
SHUA
The zombie was baited as its attack only managed to hit the air. The monster still had not realized what had happened when its head was already rolling on the ground. Only one more zombie remained. Li JinHai decided to repeat the same sequence of attacks and the outcome was exactly the same as a few instants later another zombie's head rolled on the ground. After his body absorbed the golden light, he started to feel the sensation of being full, like after eating at a buffet.
"Is this the sensation of nearing a leveling up?" Thought Li JinHai stared at his hands which were still glowing in golden light.
He then neared the body of the middle-aged man. Wounds were all over the body with huge chunks of flesh that were missing. The man had apparently died of blood loss and Li JinHai did not want to lose any time. It was better to behead the man now before it would stand up in the form of a zombie.
SLASH
THUD
Another head rolled on the ground with a huge quantity of red blood coming out from the middle-aged man's throat. Zombies' blood was different from normal humans' blood. It was darker and denser compared to the blood of leaving beings.
"It seems that the man has not transformed yet."
"Congratulations! You killed another Player for the first time. The system decided to reward your will to survive with a random Evolve Point! +1 Vitality"
"What? The man was still alive!?" Li JinHai's face lost its color. He felt like a murderer! Sure, the man was fated to become a zombie in a few moments but nonetheless, he had killed a living human! He felt pained at the beginning but the sensation of guilt started to quickly fade away as a red sphere of light came out from the beheaded body and entered Li JinHai's body.
"Congratulations! You are now level 4, please allocate the Evolve Points."
"Attention, ancient bloodline detected. Some Evolve points will be automatically given based on the bloodline characteristics. +2 Willpower. +1 to all Primary Attributes."
Two blue screens popped out.

"Mmh, let me see. Endurance is important but I feel that the more Strength I have the less energy I spend to kill the zombies. Yes, I will increase these two!" Exclaimed Li JinHai as he put 1 Evolve Point in both Endurance and Strength. He then started to look around the middle-aged man's corpse.
"Found it." He exclaimed as he picked something up from the ground. It was the man's pistol, a covered in blood Colt 1911. He quickly checked the magazine and saw that there still were 6 bullets.
He suddenly closed his left eye and held the gun with his right hand aiming at a tree not too far from him.
"Cool!" Exclaimed Kang. He did take some shooting classes with his grandfather and while his shooting skills were far from being at the level of his martial arts, he could handle such a pistol.
"Attention! You are using a weapon that does not belong to the Magic World system. By killing monsters or other players with it you will not get any experience points or items."
"So it's like this. Well, the gun can still be useful in the future." He was still aiming at the tree when suddenly his expression changed as his right eye started scorching again.
DING
"Mysterious Bloodline Analysis completed. The host's bloodline could not be found within the system database however, some similarities are shared with the following bloodlines:
Golden Lord: 79%
Smiting Body: 50%
Heaven Giant: 40%
Berserker: 22%
High Human: 4%
For a more accurate analysis, the Host must first reach LV10. The system has made information about Bloodline Assimilation public. You may check them now."
"Check Bloodline Assimilation information." Said Li JinHai
"Bloodline Assimilation: Upon reaching LV10, any player can assimilate with their bloodline. A bloodline can either be innate, already present inside a player's body, or can be obtained by absorbing another creature's blood core. If a player has an innate bloodline or absorbed a blood core, they will receive a Bloodline Assimilation Quest starting from LV10."
"Interesting! God really does know how to make things more interesting." Exclaimed Li JinHai as he was stroking his chin. He then decided to check his stats once again

"What? Why has my name changed?" However, he saw no replays coming from the Magic World System. Seeing that nothing happened and that nothing changed with the stats he checked the available information regarding its bloodline.
"UNKNOWN BLOODLINE (Rank: Unknown): with each level up the following Evolve Points will be automatically allocated. +1 to all Primary Attributed, +2 to Vitality. Golden Lord shared similarities: 79%."
"It seems that the bloodline's boost switched from Willpower to Vitality." Said Li JinHai.
After he closed the information window, Li JinHai started to walk down the mountain. He was satisfied with the small detour he made. He had leveled up and obtained a gun which was his lifesaving trump card. Now, he only needed to get out from the mountain range.
