It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and the group had gathered at the park again, this time with Max happily trotting alongside them.
Selena laughed as Max suddenly darted off toward a group of pigeons. "Max! Come back here! Not the pigeons!"
Gala shook her head, smiling. "That dog has more energy than all of us combined."
Sam pulled out a frisbee. "Alright, let's see if we can tire him out."
Yan tossed the frisbee, and Max sprinted after it, ears flapping and tongue hanging out in pure joy.
"Look at him go!" Mia cheered. "He's having the time of his life."
As Max proudly brought the frisbee back, Selena joked, "He's like our unofficial mascot. Always reminding us to have fun, no matter how crazy life gets."
Gala smiled warmly. "Yeah, Max's energy is contagious. Makes me want to just enjoy the moment."
Sam nodded. "Maybe that's what we needed all along — a little reminder from a scruffy dog."
As the sun began to set, the friends sat together on the grass, watching Max chase the last frisbee tosses of the day.
Selena sighed happily. "Heatwave, dramas, surprises — we've been through it all. But days like this? They make it all worth it."
Yan grinned. "Agreed. Here's to many more adventures with Max — and with all of us."
Max barked in agreement, wagging his tail fiercely.
