Chapter 378 - Ch 165 - Night of Connection

The warmth of Ling Ding's embrace was like a balm to Jason's storm-ridden soul. For a long moment, they sat in silence, her hands gently tracing soothing patterns on his back. The world outside seemed to fade, leaving only the two of them in the soft glow of her palace.

"Jason," Ling Ding murmured, her breath brushing against his ear, "You carry so much within you. Let me be your sanctuary tonight."

Jason pulled back slightly, meeting her gaze. Her emerald eyes glistened with a mix of tenderness and longing. The walls he had built around himself began to crumble, brick by brick, under her gentle persistence. He reached up, his calloused hand cupping her cheek as his thumb traced her smooth skin.

"You're too kind to me," He whispered, his voice hoarse with unspoken emotions.

Ling Ding smiled softly. "Kindness has nothing to do with this. I care for you, Jason. Deeply."

The words hung in the air between them, heavy with meaning. Slowly, Jason leaned in, his lips brushing hers in a tentative kiss. It was featherlight at first, a question more than an action, but Ling Ding responded without hesitation, her lips parting to welcome him.

The Slow Burn

Their kiss deepened, growing more fervent with each passing moment. Ling Ding's hands slid up to tangle in Jason's hair, pulling him closer as if afraid he might vanish. Jason's own hands roamed to her waist, gripping her as though anchoring himself to the present.

When they finally pulled apart, both were breathing heavily, their foreheads resting against each other.

"Ling Ding," Jason murmured, his voice low and filled with reverence, "Are you sure about this?"

Her answer was a simple but resolute nod. "More sure than I've ever been about anything."

She stood, taking his hand and guiding him further into her chambers. The room was bathed in soft candlelight, the air carrying a faint floral scent that seemed to heighten the intimacy of the moment. Ling Ding turned to face him, her hands resting lightly on his chest.

"Stay with me," She whispered, her tone a mixture of vulnerability and desire.

Jason's response was to kiss her again, this time with more urgency. His hands slid to her back, pulling her flush against him as their lips moved in perfect sync.

As their passion grew, so did their willingness to shed the barriers between them—both emotional and physical.

Ling Ding's fingers worked at the clasps of Jason's robes, her touch deliberate but tender. The heavy fabric fell away, revealing the hard planes of his chest, scarred but no less beautiful in her eyes. She traced one particularly deep scar with her fingers, her expression a mixture of sadness and admiration.

"Every mark tells a story," She said softly, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. "And I want to know all of them."

Jason swallowed hard, his hands moving to the sash of her gown. "Then let me know you, too."

With a delicate tug, her gown loosened, slipping from her shoulders to pool at her feet. The sight of her stole his breath away—her golden hair cascading down her back, her pale skin glowing in the dim light. For a moment, he simply stared, as though committing every detail to memory.

"You're stunning," He murmured, his voice filled with awe.

Ling Ding blushed but didn't look away. Instead, she stepped closer, her hands sliding up his chest to rest on his shoulders. "And you are mine tonight."

What followed was a symphony of passion.

Jason's hands moved with purpose, tracing every curve of Ling Ding's form as though committing her to memory. Her skin was silk under his fingertips, each touch eliciting a soft gasp or shiver that sent his heart racing.

Ling Ding leaned in, her lips grazing the sensitive spot below his ear before trailing a fiery path down his neck and across his collarbone.

"Jason," She whispered, her voice a sultry melody, "you feel… like home."

Jason's breath hitched, his hands gripping her waist more tightly as he murmured, "You undo me, Ling Ding… I can't resist you."

Her lips curved into a smile against his skin. "Then don't."

Jason captured her mouth in a kiss so deep, so consuming, that it seemed to pull the very air from the room.

Ling Ding moaned softly against his lips, her fingers threading through his dark hair, tugging him closer, deeper.

Jason's lips left hers only to find her shoulders, her jawline, and the delicate curve of her throat. He lingered there, pressing open-mouthed kisses that made her shudder and arch into him.

"Jason," She gasped, her voice trembling with both need and tenderness, "you're… driving me mad."

He smiled against her skin, his voice low and rough with desire. "Good. Because you've been driving me mad since the moment I saw you."

He murmured, his voice filled with awe. "You're more than I ever dreamed, Ling Ding."

Her cheeks flushed, but she didn't shy away. Instead, she reached for him, her hands sliding over his chest, feeling his muscles under her skin.

"You're perfect," She whispered, her hands exploring the hard planes of his chest, the scars that told stories of battles won and lost. "Every part of you."

Jason's hands gripped her hips, holding her against him as their bodies aligned. Ling Ding moaned softly into his mouth, the sound like music to his ears. He pulled back slightly, his lips brushing hers as he whispered, "You make me feel alive, Ling Ding. Like I can finally breathe again."

She smiled, her fingers tracing his jawline. "And you make me feel safe. Wanted. Loved."

Their mouths met again, more fervently this time, their kisses growing more urgent as they shed the final barriers between them. The cool sheets beneath them only heightened the heat radiating from their entwined bodies.

Jason's hands roamed her back, her sides, every curve that made her shiver and sigh. Ling Ding's nails raked lightly down his chest, her lips leaving a trail of fire along his neck and shoulders.

"Jason," She moaned softly, her voice a mix of pleasure and longing. "I've never wanted anyone the way I want you."

His hands slid to her thighs, his grip firm yet reverent as he murmured, "You have me, Ling Ding. All of me."

"I need you," Ling Ding gasped, her hands gripping his shoulders as she moved against him.

Jason's eyes locked with hers, his gaze filled with unspoken emotion.

"I'm yours," He said, his voice rough with intensity. "Now and forever."

The rhythm of their bodies quickened, each touch, each kiss pushing them higher, closer, until they reached a crescendo that left them both trembling and breathless.

Hours seemed to pass like minutes as they lost themselves in each other.

The passion between them ebbed and flowed like the tide—sometimes fiery and urgent, other times slow and languid. They spoke without words, their bodies conveying what their hearts already knew.
