Derek then swore and said to Kerry, "It's not what you think." And when he saw Kerry raise an eyebrow, he said embarrassedly, "Okay, it's exactly what you think it is, but…" He sighed and then said to him, "Give me five minutes and I'll explain everything to you."
Kerry didn't have time to say anything else because he slammed the door in his face, and Derek immediately regretted his action because he scared Connor even more with the noise he had just made.
He quickly put on some clothes and then slowly moved closer to Connor, talking to him and reminding him that he was no longer in that prison but with him. When Connor finally decided to look up and saw Derek's face, he threw himself into his arms and said to him, "Tell me this isn't a dream, or I never want to wake up again."
