The idea of there being a hidden entrance to the dungeon below the basement was an idea that was obvious to Ning after he had thought of it. However, even then, he couldn't find it.
'How did the bandits enter?' he wondered, unable to believe that the damn bandits had been smarter than him. 'They had manpower. I'm a single person with no time.'
Either way, he had spent nearly half an hour in this place, and his people would be coming close by this time. He needed to let them know that the bandits really were here and were laying an ambush.
He quickly walked back up to the top and went out the broken doors to go to his horse, when he realized that his horse was missing entirely.
"Huh?"
He quickly ran down the entire hill, making his way down to the forest where he had tied his horse. It wasn't there at all. Had he tied the noose too loose? No, he couldn't have made such a mistake.
