Alex hoped for the old man to answer his queries, but instead the old man looked confused. Genuinely confused.
"A metal wall?" the old man asked.
Alex nodded. "At least, I think it was metal. Do you not know about it?" he asked.
"Where was this wall again?"
"In the freezing depths, beyond even where the beasts with Sunheart go to cultivate," Alex explained.
It became clear from the old man's expression at that moment that he had no idea what Alex was talking about. "We generally can't go that low. We tend to gather our Elixir from even much further above since it's safer there."
Alex thought for a bit and realized how his Yang body was one of the major reasons why he had gotten as close as he had down there. He only then figured that the old man wouldn't have any idea.
He had hoped he would have the answer, though.
"Do you think this metal wall is responsible for making Elixir?" the old man asked.
Alex nodded. "I'm more than certain," he said.
"Why?"
