Because beside Dora stood a goblin.
"Hey, young master, do you remember me? We met yesterday." The goblin said with a smile.
"Uh..." Jones hesitated and asked, "I saw many goblins yesterday, which one are you? Sorry, you all look the same. All green, and all have eyes and noses."
"We met at the bank." The goblin grinned.
"You're the goblin from the bank?" Jones's eyes slowly narrowed into slits.
"Yes, that's right, it's me."
"What do you want from me?"
"You wanted to buy a castle, right? We have a new batch of options and would like to offer them for your consideration." As he spoke, the goblin pulled out three sheets of paper and handed them over.
"Oh, really?" Jones accepted the papers expressionlessly and pretended to look through them.
*Why "pretended" to look? Because he couldn't afford it anyway.*
