"The Great Speaker has truly turned against us now." Watching the slightly desolate silhouette of the Great Speaker, Anthony sighed.
Negris sneered and quipped, "Wasn't it all because you pushed him?"
"How could it be my fault? I merely gave him a nudge. Otherwise, with his personality, even if others came knocking at his door, he'd still be indecisive," Anthony replied.
Negris couldn't help but roll his eyes. "A nudge? You exposed him on purpose so that South Coronet would notice, then coaxed Lea and others away from him, and even had the silver coin come to collect debts from him. You did more than nudge him — you practically shoved him multiple times."
"It was necessary for him to make up his mind. At the end of the day, he's just a Shepherd. Although we've bonded over time, sheep are ultimately the property of the farmer," Anthony remarked.
Negris blinked in surprise. "What do you mean? Do you think he's going to just give up and abandon everything?"
