"What's the Scion's Party?" Iwatomi asked as they drove back to Korede's villa.
"It's a gathering for the younger generation of the country's elite," Korede replied casually.
"Sons and daughters of top businessmen, politicians, government officers, major professionals, socialites… If their families have a seat at the table, they'll be there."
"So the Balogun Family gets invited too?"
"We're always invited," Korede said with a shrug. "But we rarely attend.
I probably got an invite, but I wouldn't have noticed if my mother hadn't brought it up."
