The trio remained perched within the boughs of the immense living tree, the bark beneath their feet warm and pulsing as if the tree itself was breathing. The magnificent trees could hold houses of great size and each branch was as wide as the road.
The trio naturally picked a tree that was closest, and who had no other resident.
While Emeros and the group could see several groups, the thick clouds and mist that surrounded the top of each tree hid those who were further out.
The tree continued to eat casually. But all were guarded.
"Such thick killing intents... All because you two had to show off." Simera complained.
"Relax. Even if there are Crowns here, the situation is too weird. It's too peaceful here. And besides, I needed to eat to see their reactions. Now we know there is something here so important, that they can only look at us in lust." Emeros chuckled as he began to eat even more.
"What are you doing now?"
