Young Edward snarled at Rex before turning to the maid beside him.
"Who is this criminal? And what is he doing here?" He asked.
Hesitantly, the maid glanced at Rex before she answered, "This gentleman here is not a criminal; he's Lord Rex, who was working together with the Great Elder. And he's here to wait for the Great Elder to come discuss important matters."
"A Lord who can't even sit down and wait?" Young Edward cast Rex a pitying look.
One that made Rex's expression twitch in annoyance.
"Let this prince teach you some manners," Young Edward freed himself from the maid and walked over to Rex, and grabbed his hand. "Come," He instructed, leading Rex back to the sofa. "If the Great Elder told you to wait, then you wait like a gentleman."
Rex glanced at Amanir at a loss for words.
He couldn't believe the audacity of this young boy.
Amanir only chuckled and went back to his seat—the atmosphere was a lot better than before.
