David raised an eyebrow at the mention of Adam Piers, guessing his purpose. After thinking about it carefully, he said, "I've offended someone this time. You need to be sure, if you get involved, you might also provoke them."
"Who would make you so apprehensive?" Adam Piers frowned, although he asked, he didn't seem to take it too seriously.
"I'm investigating, but only a few people can block my new movie and make my investors withdraw." David knew Adam wouldn't care much about these things but felt he should warn him about the risks.
Adam immediately understood, "Have you seen me afraid of anyone? Even if I were scared, would my brother be?"
David couldn't help teasing when he heard Adam's words, "Does Brandon know you're so close to him?"
"Get lost, do you still want the investment?" Adam was annoyed.
