The car weaved through the bustling city center and returned to Rose Valley.
Catherine first went to the nursery to pick up Alice. The little girl hadn't seen her mother all day. She rushed into her mother's arms upon seeing Catherine, happily talking about her day. After finishing, she peeked out from Catherine's embrace and, not seeing Benjamin, showed a hint of disappointment on her face, "Mommy, where is Uncle Benjamin?"
"Uncle Benjamin is busy," Catherine replied somewhat evasively to her daughter.
Alice nodded understandingly, but couldn't help asking again, "When will uncle be finished with his work? Alice misses uncle a bit."
