Xiang Shan originally wanted to sit on the steps in front of his apartment, just like back then. For a while, he developed an amateur interest in astronomical observation and borrowed a set of professional equipment from a Federation scholar in the park to play with. This hobby came and went quickly, one of the many fleeting interests in Xiang Shan's life.
But from then on, he got used to sitting on the steps in front of his apartment, looking up at the boundless sky and pondering things.
It was on these steps that the initial plans of Transhumanism were conceived in his mind, birthing a grand endeavor that would change human history.
But now, he couldn't sit in the same spot as back then.
This three-meter-tall, robust Prosthetic Body didn't match the size of the entire house. And the steps from back then weren't designed to support such a massive metal construct.
Above his head, it was no longer the bright, clean, boundless space, but a glass dome filled with debris.
