Dexter had made it back to the Academy with about 5 minutes left until class started when it hit him he should have at least tried to get rid of the body, he didn't even drink their blood or eat them even though it would have benefited him.
Although Dexter was apathetic it was still his first time killing somebody so he made some mistakes. He made sure to burn this into his memory so that he would never make such a rookie mistake again.
He had to make sure he didn't get caught in the act of murder.

Dexter thought about his current appearance, it wouldn't actually be hard to explain as when somebody unlocks their divine ability there is a 1/1,000 chance for their appearance to be altered slightly.
He had decided to show the Inspector( the person that would question him) a weaker version of his charm ability so he wouldn't get suspicious, Dexter had planned on hiding his Devour ability from the start.
'Is there anyway for me to prevent the inspector from using his innate ability to find out what mine is?' (Inspectors have to have the ability to see innate abilities)
