"Why do you hide?"
The figure who stared at Shai conflicted. How would you feel if you saw someone you harbored love for. Whether it be romantic or platonic, appear again, not like themselves, different personality and traits that they would never do when alive. They themselves would wallow in a corner to do that to some, but their face. Body and voice are all there's. The figure felt a hand on his arm, and he stared off, ignoring her.
"I'm sorry Shai what did you say?"
"Why hide what you look like figure,"
"What would you do if i looked like someone you loved long ago, long forgotten but still remembered by where you hold them?"
"Where in your mind or in your heart,"
The figure took a moment to contemplate. She is right. Not just one but both of them. They are the image you see and the feeling you remember. The figure smiled at her and nodded.
"Both Shai. i believe,"
Shai nods, she agreed with him, and she guessed that much. It struck her too if it had happened to her, Shai peered at Judy and saw her stiff form, she held onto her tablet tightly, she not staring at it she looking above it in a daze. Shai nudged the figure and caused him to look down at her elbow with a confused stare, Shai pointed to Judy, which made the figure turn to her. He noticed her stare faint and clouded. That video must have shown her, and it must have been someone dear to her,
"Judy?"
She didn't move and just stared off, the figuer went to say her name again but her tablet went off, Judy looked down at it seeing that its from Claire, she has what she needed and wanted her to see it immediately, they watch a small smile apper on her lips as her tells them,
"Claire has something for me to see, i will be going,"
Judy got up, glancing at the figure, and Shai. Before heading to the door, she only made it to the door when the figure smooth voice,
"What that idiot showed you... Must have been what me and Shai were talking about, I'm sorry you had to go through that, even for the sake of an answer,"
Judy didn't glance at him, not even a bit. She opened the door and then said,
"I shouldn't have asked if I knew that it would be him, but I have, I shouldn't regret that,"
She closed the door leaving the to of the in the moon light, The figure and Shai looked to each other perplexed, the figure understood where shes coming from but having that resolve is admiral, Shai confused shook her head peering at the figure.
"So, have anything else to do?"
"Not really, no. i just wanted to check in you, but it seemed we have more oppressing matter to attend to,"
"The other figure?"
"No, the gods they have the map to the building and now have made a plan to break in. The only matter is you and the weapon,"
The figure got up, glancing at her, finding the weapon soft glow appearing at her side. It's been listening to them. Shai glanced down at it huffed,
"Do i have to be there?"
The figure went quite looking away from her interrogative gaze, He came her to check on her honesty but after this he knew they wanted to talk with him, they also wanted to know if she would be available to talk with them,
"They would like to know if you are able to be there, but you haven't gotten better, Shai?"
"Yes,"
"Then you can't wait another day. i will tell them that, for now, rest Shai,"
"Figuer it can't wait much longer, she has already made her mind, planing throughly how to move ahead and retreat,"
He stopped himself from a retort, Shai's right she has start her bombardment, and it will only escalate from here, It wouldnt stop until she got what she wanted, The figure agreed with her, this is her precious time to escalate her plan, but Shai still needed more time, he could see her still tiered, better then the day prior.
"Shai you still need time, you have over worked yourself since you've gotten in this world, you have rested in your bed yes, but your body hasn't had time to heal and your mind hasn't either,"
The figure stared at her softly, patting her shoulder and continued to say,
"You must have patients Shai, not with the situation but with your own body, with you."
She froze in shock, she has heard this before, going to high school want easy for her, she was bullied and wanted out so badly, dealing with it by herself not wanting to bother her father but she couldn't handle it, she told him and she never seen him that pissed before. But he calmed down after going to her school the next day, he told her the same thing the figure told her, Shai didn't notice the smile on her face from the faint memory,
"Shai, you're smiling?"
Shai looked to the figure and explained, "It's just a memory figure. Go do what you have to. i will rest for now,"
"Are you certain?"
"Yeah, just don't banter with the other figure if you bump into him,"
Shai siad with a teasing tone in her voice. The figure gazes her a dity look, walking to the coner of the room muttering under his breath,
"If only he wouldn't bother me, i couldn't batter with him,"
"You wish for too much with him, figure,"
"I know that, Shai,"
He lifts up his hand having a portal appear, he glanced at her one last time, before walking thought the portal leaving Shai in the shine of the moon, Shai looked where the figuer went throught the portal with a frown covered her face,
"I don't have long now, i must be ready for tomorrow,"
Shai stood up, feeling dizzy. She must have gotten up too fast she leans on the bed, glancing out the window staring at the moon,
"I know to rest, and i will in a bit,"
Shai made it to the window slowly, watching the moon move in the sky. She saw the clouds around it normal, and she noticed the stare started to appear around it, Shai touched the window,
"Some days, i wonder when i will see my world again,"
Shai perused her lips, moving her gaze to her hand when the clouds around the moon turned red. She pulled her hand back, staring at the red clouds as it seeps into the moon, Shai watched it disturbed and thought it must have been the gods.
"He must be talking to them. But that doesn't make sense of why it changed like that,"
Shai observed it before turning to her bed. She sat down looking at the red glow in the room,
"This is something to do with you, doesn't it?"
Shai glanced at the weapon. It shifted in her waist, the handel pointed to the moon and clouds. Shai dropped her head, looking at the ground muttering.
"What the hell is happening with you?"
"Figuer, what are you doing here?"
Ares asked as the figuer walked in there thron room where Ares, Hermess stood close to the door, The figuer sees the other figuer talking with Zeus and Art while Athena stood there lisenting but speaking when needed,
"I came here to tell you about Shai's heath,"
The figure glanced at Ares, pulling down his cloak, Ares stared at him hesitant when Hermes flew closer to him with a found smirk on his face with the recongnised wickin his eyes,
"So, now you're doing it too?"
"Doing what Hermes?"
"Letting us see who you are, that's eye opening figure, didn't think you would do it,"
"It was time if you didn't want to see me this way. You should've reconsidered the deal,"
Hermes went to say something, but Ares interrupted him, saying,
"Hermes, stop messing with him,"
"I'm not messing with him per say, I'm just intrigued,"
"That's what gets you into odd problems,"
Ares huffed looked to him,
"You said something of Shai. Is she better?"
"She is getting better, i think she needs another day,"
"That's good to hear then,"
A loud voice came from behind Ares and Hermes, the move showing Zeus walking twoards them with Athena and Art following him,
"You better join us, figuer this is long over do,"
"But for now, I will stay and think. I've gotten too much on my mind as it is,"
