Zhou Xufang had been sleeping a lot lately.
She went to bed after nine last night and when she opened her eyes in the morning, it was past nine again, and it wasn't a natural wake-up; she was roused by her cell phone ringing. Tossing in the bed, she reached out to grab the phone on the nightstand.
"Hello."
"Xu Fang, are you free tonight?"
It was Lu Sheng.
Zhou Xufang crawled out from under the covers, rubbed her sleepy eyes, and said, "I'm free."
"Do you want to come over for dinner? Your uncle will be there, and my family would like to meet you."
Zhou Xufang thought for a moment, "Okay."
"I'll come pick you up tonight."
"Mm."
After hanging up, Zhou Xufang got out of bed, her hair a messy bed-head, squinted her eyes, and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Midway, she heard her phone ring again and took it with her to the bathroom.
"What are you doing?"
The electric toothbrush buzzed.
