The dark age of the vampires terrorized humanity at its finest because of the delusions of some vampires that reached their peak potential.
The vampires of old had no choice but to create the Vampire Hunters using forbidden magic. The first to receive this blessing was one of the old ancestors of the Argento royal family. They were mere knights of the Old Vampire Council or at least what was left when the Crazed Blood Queens left.
