The scars this catastrophic event left on the people of Atlantis were unimaginable. Having fled their homeland 760,000 years ago, these surviving "descendants of the gods" had fought side by side like siblings, providing comfort to one another through the darkest of times, clinging to a faint hope that was nearly impossible. However, this calamity from the heavens caused nearly two-thirds of them to leave this world forever. In every corner of the city, one could see the Atlantian civilians clearing corpses and repairing the aftermath, the sorrow in their eyes almost washing away the joy of victory.
