Even though having an extra fighter doesn't change the situation much, Shun doesn't mind an extra hand as long as he can use a copy of Leona's sword which can be very effective against opponents who can get killed by the sun.
Leading up the charge Leona rushed forward with her shield, as she tried to bash it towards Vesper, only for the latter to move sideways and knock her back with a serious punch towards her stomach armor.
Thankfully Leona manage to use her skill "Eclipse" to increase her defensive capability around her body before getting blown back.
In that moment Shun jumped in, as she he slashed down his zenith sword, only for Vesper to quickly dodge by taking a side step on his right. But the moment Vesper did such a thing, Shun immediately twist his aim to the side and slashed towards Vesper's direction.
However right before Shun's attack could hit Vesper, the latter quickly turned into mist, as it moved behind Shun and quickly casted a spell which shoot out needles of blood.
"Purgatory stakes!!!"
In response to this Shun immediately used "Shunpo" to blink behind Vesper and dodge his sudden magic attack. Raising his sword, he swung it down towards Vesper, only for the latter to turn into a pool of blood and begun attacking him in his blood pool state.
Raising spikes after spikes from the ground, Shun then had no choice but to continously jump up in order to avoid getting pierced to death by Vesper's attacks.
But right at the far distance from him, alongside the base walls, Vesper emerges from the ground, as he gathered the surrounding blood on the field towards the blood sphere right above him, and casted a spell which resulted to the accumulated blood to attack Shun in a snake like manner.
In that moment without given choice, Shun had to use every techniques he know to fight off the blood like tentacles while ensuring he always watches out his back.
During his struggle, Leona then charge towards Vesper on another angle, making her succesfully reach the wall unbeknownst to the latter's attention. By the moment Vesper noticed Leona, it was already too late as she was close enough to slash him a fatal wound.
In just one attack from Leona, Vesper's magic was canceled, as the champion itself fought the vampire right above the base wall itself. Not long after Leona used her "Solar flare" against Vesper, causing a ray from above to peirce through the sky and its light smashing towards Vesper's location.
Of course Vesper struggled from defending himself from that attack, but before his defenses breaks, Vesper casted a spell towards Leon in an attempt to take her down alongside him.
Not long after a huge explosion erupted, as the base wall got split in half and smoke assaulted the whole base camp.
After the smoke disappeared, Vesper was left there heavily wounded as his body became unrecognizable from having every cell on it burned by the flames of the sun. He was like a walking charcoal man. The only thing that wasn't burned was his eyes, aside from that everything was burned. But as a vampire with superior blood, his body begun to regenerate, as he reformed his whole body anew.
While this was happening, Leona disintegrated into mana particles as she too got down in when she got hit with Vesper's attack
With Leona gone, the burden was left to Shun, as the person himself rushed towards Vesper himself. But by the time he reached Vesper's location, the person himself had transformed his whole body into full adult, as his eyes became bloodshot crazed while his blood swirled around him to form his clothes.
"You insects!!!"
Glaring at Shun Vesper charged towards him with his claws, as both Shun and Vesper soon clashed towards the center and begun their battle while occasionally moving all over the place. However with the copy of the zenith blade on his hand, Shun has the upper hand.
Using the sword whenever there is a chance, Shun would always target its vital parts and cut off Vesper's hand in order to avoid getting hit by its claws. But whenever he did that, Vesper would always spray blood on him before making them explode. Using that time when the exploding blood assaulted Shun, he would then regenerate his hand before slashing down his claws towards him once more.
Not long after, Shun picked up a shield from the ground as he threw it towards Vesper like a Frisbee in an attempt to break his momentum. Just as Shun expected Vesper swat the shield to the side, as it charged towards Shun himself.
However in this moment Shun was able to move closer towards him as he slashed his arms into five section cuts, before aiming towards Vesper's neck.
But despite all of that Vesper struggled till the end as he faced the blade and bites it down with his own teeth in an attempt to break it into pieces. Of course Shun realized his intent when he noticed cracks started to form on the bitten area of the sword. So before its too late he summoned the sun itself.
Once again the ray of the sun pierced a hole on the sky once more as it hit both Vesper who was the target and Shun who was unable to get away.
Feeling the searing pain as his skin get burned and his flesh being cook by the sun, Shun endured it all with pure grit and determination, as he watched Vesper screaming in pain and attempting to run away.
Once the solar ray had ended, both Shun and Vesper were unrecognizable as every inch of their body was burned down to the crisp, in fact even Shun looked pitiful as if his body was about to fall. With that usage of the skill, his copy of the zenith blade finally broke down as it pieces turned to dust alongside his figure who seemed to be breaking down.
In a last fit of struggle, Vesper used this chance to issue a retreat as he can't afford to get hit by another solar attack from the enemy. For all his life, he never expected that he would have to run away from humans unordered to survive. Humans and their detestable ways to counter their kind, Vesper vowed to never forget this humiliation and will have his revenge.
With the issue of retreat, all the remaining vampire quickly ran back to the forest, as they all followed their escaping leader. With that the victory ended in the palm of the academy students, causing cheers to erupt of people who specializes in medic to aid the people who are fatally injured.
