This was Bai Di's first time writing a game strategy, a relatively meticulous person. To write this guide, he dragged Caramel along for another visit to the Supervisors' living area and caught a wild Supervisor for a test.
The test included how to enter the instance and the mechanism for triggering "Power Trial," a hidden instance. After piecemeal testing and screenshotting, Bai Di realized that triggering his power surge and separating it didn't require a conversation with Grey Eyes.
It only required holding the clump of grey mist here for about one to five minutes. Over time, the mist would grow denser, and once it accumulated to a certain degree, it could summon a physical manifestation of the power within oneself.
During his fourth encounter with his power's physical manifestation, the Thunder Beast, Bai Di didn't fight to the death because he was there to write a strategy guide, not to defeat the Thunder Beast.
