"Miss Serval, do you want me to deliver it for you?"
"No need, I'll deliver it myself."
"Alright, take care."
Lilac Serval took the insulated box and hailed a taxi.
The rain was crazy today, pouring down relentlessly. Even the short walk to the car was enough to soak her coat, her umbrella barely offering any shelter.
She had been to the Cheney Family building before and recognized the corporate tower.
However, when she stood in front of Charles McIntosh, he was still taken aback.
"Why are you here?" Charles thought she wouldn't come and almost asked his assistant to order a meal.
The files piled up like mountains on his desk, but his fatigue seemed to sweep away upon seeing her.
"I was afraid you'd starve."
Lilac opened the insulated box and arranged the dishes on the table in the compartment.
Charles walked over and glanced— they were all his favorite dishes.
