When Taloc awoke he thought all had been a dream for his hands were empty of the rod and it nowhere in sight he sighed until realizing he hadn't a clue upon where he was, looking around he was alone thinking of shouting for someone. Opening his mouth to call out he was interrupted by a familiar voice echoing in his head.
"Don't worry your not alone....you're never alone and yes I can read your mind".
Taloc sat a minute in silence unsure how to react he asked, "well what are you?"
"I am what I am Is all I can say all I know is that I've been waiting for you a long time in a world of darkness until you were born then I saw a light which led me to a different world ,though still not to you I knew we were destined for each other. You see I project your soul bending it's will and manifesting it."
"Uhh..what do you mean by that?"
Simply said my kind can shape your soul weapon, armor, but most of all I interact with the mana stream that overlays our existence and the reason you can't see me is because we are bonded. If you remove your blouse and check your upper right chest you will see a tattoo that is me shadowing your soul, as you grow stronger I grow in accordance."
Taloc sat there gathering his thoughts then undid the top of his blouse and truth be told there was a tattoo of a rose bud on his upper right chest the color just happened to be the same shade as the rod he used earlier. "Yes and no ,it was a manefestion of your soul not me I am merely the channel like I said before as you grow it will grow". "Lastly what is the mana stream and what do you mean interact?"
"The mana stream is the energy that binds all of existence and what actually all life is based from, as far as interacting through your power im able to tap into that energy to control the elements and most importantly read the mana imprints from other beings.
