Chapter 229 - The Seafoam Islands

"Ngh.... Do I really have to wear these?" Dawn whined as she fidgeted where she was standing, before lifting her skirt to reveal the devices strapped to both of her thighs. Devices that had cords attached to them that ran upwards, before disappearing into her slit and backdoor.

"Yep. Consider this your punishment." I told her without any mercy, in regards to the escapades Purloin and Litten got up to yesterday.

"Maoooo... What about YOUR punishment? Litten helped Purloin!" Dawn declared with dissatisfaction.

"'Helped', as in Purloin did all of the stealing herself." I pointed out, making Dawn's pout deepen.

I then held up a remote and pressed the button it.

"!!!"

"HAHN~!" She cried out cutely as a muffled humming noice started coming from her body.

"Now make sure you keep both of those in, ALLLLL DAAAAAY." I hissed in her ear. "And don't even THINK about making yourself cum either."

Dawn looked as if she were about to start crying as I back away from her, though none of the other girls looked at her with pity, since they had to spend all day yesterday going commando thanks to Purloin.

With Dawn's 'punishment' underway, we quickly packed up our room since we would be arriving to the Seafoam Islands later this afternoon. And when we did get there, we didn't want to spend the extra time packing our stuff AFTER the ship had already docked.

When we were done we grabbed our bags and made our way to the deck, where we can enjoy a slightly late breakfast while watching the waves.

"So while we're at the islands, we should DEFINITELY check out some of the beaches!" May stated as pulled out one of her MANY pamphlets that she apparently had a habit of collecting. On them were numerous stock photos of people enjoying themselves like they were on vacation in Alola, playing at the beach, hiking some trails, reef diving, and even enjoying themselves at a spa.

"Sounds good. There's also a famous grill nearby that we should try out tonight for dinner." I said while pointing to a certain spot on the map on the back of the pamphlet.

"Haaaaa...." May groaned as she practically began to salivate just from imagining the food that would be availible there. Octillery-kabobs, grilled Finneon fillets, Kingler legs, Staryu steaks... Even I had to fight back to urge to drool as I thought of the food they'd have.

"Hey Ace, what's up with your bag?" Misty asked suddenly, drawing me out of food fantasies as I looked at my bag, which was wiggling slightly.

"Oh!" I exclaimed while opening it hurriedly, to find that one of my three eggs was shaking erratically. The white egg with red and blue shapes on it.

"I was wondering who would hatch first!" I stated while gently placing the egg on the table. My Weedle egg was laid during the battle of the SS. Anne, so I was able to estimate roughly when it would hatch based on average Weedle incubation periods. My Shieldon and Togepi eggs on the other hand were complete mysteries on when they had been laid, and so how long it would be until they hatched.

We all watched as the egg shook and wobbled on the table, before cracks began to spread from the top.

*Crack!*

The top third of the shell shattered suddenly while tiny nubs poked through where arms and legs would be, and a row of spikes under the shattered shell opened up to reveal a crown-like head while a pair of tiny eyes opened to gaze at me.

"Tokiprrrrrrrrrrrri~!" The little bundle of joy declared while happily waving it's nubs.

"""AWWWWWWWWWWE!"""

The girls all gushed over the newly born pokemon while I even felt my heart melt as well.

"Well hello there little one~!" I said while lifting Togepi up into the air.

"Prrrri~!" The little egg trilled happily as I played with it, before a little growl could be heard from it.

"Uh oh! Is somebody hungry?"

"Toki Toki, Prrrrrrrrrri~!"

I set Togepi down on the table, where the girls all began fussing over it while I pulled a bottle and some of Miltank's milk out of my bag for it to drink.

Soon Togepi was happily guzzling the milk after we warmed it up a little, and I pulled out my pokedex to see what relevant information it had.

~~~
Togepi- The Spike Ball pokemon
♂️
Fairy type
It is believed that this pokemon stores the feelings of happiness inside it's shell, which it then shares with others. It is also believed that this pokemon uses the positive emotions of others as it's source of energy. This pokeon has the Super Luck ability.
Moves:
Growl, Pound, Charm, Metronome, Present.
~~~

Not bad for a newborn, though a couple things did worry me.

Metronome for one. The move was basically the biggest gamble a trainer or pokemon could make during battle, as it randomly used ANY move out of EVERY move possible for a pokemon to make.

It sounded overpowered on paper, right until Murphy and his stupid laws come into play. Status effect moves, environmental moves, attack moves, defense moves, and most of all, self sacrifice moves. There was no telling which of these would come into play when using Metronome, which made it impossible to incorporate into any ongoing strategy. The only strategy when using Metronome was to start with it and go from there.

Present on the other hand had a one in five chance of healing the opponent instead of damaging them, or Togepi could potentially be handing bombs out to anyone if he uses the move carelessly.

Maybe I hatched myself a little troll...

But that was okay! Because he was such a cutie little troll~!

After Togepi finished his meal we then introduced him to some of our pokemon, like Ralts, Eevee, Chansey and a few others.

'Friend...!' Ralts declared telepathically while playing with Togepi, who was more than happy to go along with her whims. Not only was Ralts happy about having another fairy type around, she also liked being around him since Togepi were basically happiness given physical form.

"Toki prrrrrri~!" Togepi trilled happily as they played together until his eyes began to droop tiredly.

"Looks like someone is ready for a nap." I commented, right as Chansey approached Togepi.

"Chansey~!" She chimed while scooping Togepi up in her arms, and tucking him into her pouch.

"Awe! How cute!" Misty declared as she stared at Togepi with envy, despite being a water specialist.

"And what do we have going on over here?" Asked a new voice, one that I recognized from yesterday.

"Captain." I greeted Ann while turning to look at her.

"A Togepi egg that I acquired a few days ago hatched earlier." I explained while pointing to Chansey's pouch, where Togepi was comfortably napping.

"..."

"I see." Ann replied, though I could tell she was trying to restrain herself from gushing over the sleeping egg.

"Though I doubt you needed me to tell, you, I was just going around letting passengers know that we will be arriving at the Seafoam Islands in a few hours." Ann stated, explaining why she was here. She then added with some embarrassment bleeding into her aura, "Also, apparently the incident from yesterday was resolved last night."

"We thought so." I said, though we were the ones who resolved it after finding out Purloin and Litten were the culprits. Not that we were going to tell anyone.

After realizing that they were the culprits, we made them return the stolen panties to their rightful owners with Persian and Lucario watching over them the entire time. Apparently one or two of the pairs of panties were also Ann's.

"After arriving to the Seafoam Islands, we will be staying for three days before continuing on to Cinnabar Island as well. After that we will be turning around and making the return trip." Ann continued, changing the subject back to the ferry's schedule.

"Alright. I should be able to handle the business I need to while we are here by then." I stated, which earned me several looks.

"Right. What IS that 'business' anyways?" Misty asked pointedly, while the other girls also adopted suspicious looks. Well, all of them but Dawn, who I'm sure was busy trying to resist the urge to finger herself.

"I wanted to go and check on Articuno."

"""..."""

"And WHY exactly would you just go and 'check' on the Lady of Ice?" Ann asked asked me with an arched brow.

"Well, she WAS under the control of Team Rocket for a while. So I wanted to go and make sure she was recovering ok. After all, people can't usually approach Legendary pokemon safely. Even when I visited Zapdos before, I broke my hand punching him in the face to stop him from trying to kill me."

"..."

Ann just gaped at me while the girls sighed with undisguised exasperation, probably used to my shenanigans by now.

"I-I think I'm going to talk to some of the other passengers..." Ann eventually said as she took her leave, though she appeared to be slightly unsteady on her feet as she did so.

"You truly are horrible." Chloe said to me as we watched her leave, though she also appeared to be suppressing a giggle as she did so.

"What? All I did was say the truth." I said, which actually did get me giggles from Chloe, Joy and May, while Misty just sighed and Dawn continued fidgeting.

While they were giggling, Ralts proceeded to crawl into my lap, and sit there as she made herself comfortable.

'Food...please....!' She demanded, right as her stomach gave a light growl. She probably worked up an appetite playing with Togepi. I could only shake my head helplessly even as I spoon-fed the spoiled little psychic.

We passed the next couple hours enjoying ourselves leisurely, during which Lucario joined us after spending the morning trying to catch up on some sleep. Togepi also awoke from his nap around that time, and was able to meet Lucario then as well.

"Toki toki~!" Togepi trilled as Lucario held him up to study him.

"If anyone is ever foolish enough to make you cry, I will destroy them." He declared with complete seriousness.

"Prrrrrrrri~!"

This time we were all treated the sight of Lucario of all people playing with Togepi, which also doubled as a form of training with him involved.

This continued until we heard someone call out, "LAND HOOOOOO!"

We all rose to our feet and hurried to the bow of the ship along with several other passengers, where we saw the islands as we steadily approached them.

The Seafoam Islands were a chain of islands, reefs and rocks that numbered well over a hundred, scattered throughout the southern seas of Kanto while also acting a barrier for the region's southern border. Meanwhile the Sevi Islands, which were even further south from here, were an entirely seperate island chain that had no true affiliation with Kanto.

All of the Seafoam Islands though surrounded the largest island of all, which was where the cult of Articuno was based, while it was believed that Articuno herself roosted at the peak of the mountain in the center of the island. A belief that I felt was more than a little founded, considering that the peak was shrouded in mist while the rest of the islands enjoyed a borderline tropical environment.

"Amazing..." Misty uttered in awe as we started passing by the first of the islands in the chain, which were little more than reef and rocky outcrops. Thankfully, there was a straight passage from here to the island in the center, meaning we wouldn't have to travel a winding path through them all.

All around us people and pokemon went about their lives, even as they paused briefly to watch us pass by before returning to whatever it was they were doing.

"Look at all of the pokemon!" Misty declared as she leaned over the railing of the ship for a better look. I glanced over myself, despite the connection to the sea that I felt thanks to Lugia, and saw the beautiful reefs spread out beneath us, which played the home for hundreds of pokemon.

"Truly, a place worth visiting." Lucario said as he too glanced around curiously.

"Something tells me three days won't be enough time." I said while looking at the girls, who were looking as if they wanted to explore every single island before we leave. And to be fair, the islands we passed DID look as if they were interesting.

Then we finally neared the central island, which was also where we planned to dock. Surprisingly, there were two people I recognized waiting for us as we approached the docks.

"Greetings, Ace Ketchum." Lorelei stated as soon as we disembarked from the ferry. But before I could say anything back...

"Hey Ace!" Nemona practically shouted as she rushed me.

"I just happened to be here as well, obviously NOT waiting for you or anything! But now that you're here, let's have a battle!" Nemona declared as she took one of my hands in both her own, her eyes shining and aura flaring in excitement and borderline arousal.

"Hey Nemona. And su-"

"CUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

A sudden cry cut me off as we all looked around for the source.

"THERE!" Someone cried out, pointing up to the mountain where the mists shroudng the peak began to swirl.

"What's going on?!" Someone else demanded, while even Lorelei appeared stunned at this development. And that was BEFORE we saw the source of the cry.

From within the mists, a beautiful blue bird appeared along with a slight flurry of snowfall, before several identical birds appeared as well, though all much smaller than the first.

"It can't be-!" Lorelei exclaimed in disbelief, before she and the others all cleared the area right as the first bird touched down right in front of me.

"CUUUUUUUUUUUUNO!" Cried out the Legendary Lady of Ice, Articuno, as she personally greeted me.
